Director of Development & Strategic Partnerships (Volunteer)

We are seeking an experienced and mission-driven Volunteer Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships to help guide the growth of a developing nonprofit organization focused on education, health, humanitarian service, and psychological first aid.

This role is ideal for a former nonprofit executive, development professional, foundation advisor, or senior nonprofit leader who would enjoy using their expertise to help shape a growing organization and expand its impact.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential grant and funding opportunities
• Help develop partnerships with organizations and foundations
• Provide strategic advice on fundraising and collaboration
• Support outreach and relationship building
• Help strengthen the organization’s long-term impact

The Director of Development & Strategic Partnerships will work closely with the organization’s leadership to identify opportunities for funding, strategic partnerships, and collaborative initiatives that support programs serving people in need.

This position offers the opportunity to help shape the strategic direction of a growing nonprofit while mentoring leadership and strengthening its external partnerships.
