    About Us

    Yes, M.I.S.S. Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to empowering young women ages 14–21 in Northern New Jersey. We provide mentorship, career development, college tours, company site visits, and workshops to help them realize their purpose in both community and marketplace.

    Why Serve on Our Board?

    As a board member, you’ll partner with a passionate team to shape organizational strategy, ensure sustainable growth, and open doors for the next generation of female leaders. In addition to making an impact, you’ll gain leadership experience, broaden your network, and help direct resources where they can do the most good.

    Board Role & Expectations

    • Attend and actively participate in quarterly board meetings
    • Serve on at least one committee (Fundraising, Events, Marketing, etc.)
    • Volunteer your time, expertise, or resources (e.g. events, workshops)
    • Support fundraising via personal giving or helping secure donations
    • Commit to annual board fees, which help cover operations, insurance, communications tools, and administrative costs
    • Be an advocate and ambassador for Yes, M.I.S.S. Inc.

    Time Commitment Examples

    • Application Deadline: October 17, 2025
    • Interviews: Scheduled between November 3 - 7, 2025 , conducted virtually.
    • Notification of Selection: Applicants will be contacted by November 14, 2025.
