Grant Writer

South Florida Family C.A.R.E Alliance is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Volunteer Grant Writer to support our mission of helping children and families experiencing homelessness move toward sustainable independence.

The Volunteer Grant Writer will assist with researching grant opportunities, drafting proposals, and helping strengthen funding efforts that directly support our programs and services. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain nonprofit experience, build their writing portfolio, or use their skills to make a meaningful impact in the community.

Responsibilities may include:

• Researching potential grant opportunities
• Assisting with grant proposals and letters of inquiry
• Helping organize grant materials and deadlines
• Collaborating with staff to gather program information and impact stories

Ideal candidates should have strong writing and communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for community impact. Previous grant writing or nonprofit experience is appreciated but not required.
