Nonprofit Blogger & Writer 

Powerful Girl Broadcast, Inc. is seeking a creative and passionate Nonprofit Blogger & Writer to help share our mission, programs, events, and impact with girls, families, volunteers, donors, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Write engaging blog posts about girls’ empowerment, leadership, education, confidence, community, and opportunities.
• Create stories highlighting Powerful Girl Broadcast programs, events, volunteers, and community impact.
• Publish and upload articles to Medium, Google and other relevant online platforms to increase awareness and visibility of Powerful Girl Broadcast.
• Research relevant topics and nonprofit trends.
• Create content that helps expand the organization’s online presence and reach new audiences.
• Help develop content for the organization’s website and newsletters.
• Create compelling headlines and articles that are easy to read and share.
• Help increase website visibility through informative, search-friendly content.
• Work with the team to maintain a consistent and positive brand voice.
• Edit and proofread written content before publication.

Ideal Volunteer

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys writing and storytelling.
• Has strong grammar and communication skills.
• Is passionate about supporting girls and youth.
• Has a positive voice
• Can work independently and meet agreed-upon deadlines.
• Has blogging, journalism, communications, marketing, or nonprofit writing experience — preferred but not required.
