November Gala: Silent Auction and Event Planning

Off the Hook Arts holds an annual Gala fundraiser. This season we are holding it on Sunday, November 8th at Big View Studio. It includes: a silent auction, small live auction and paddle raise with an auctioneer as well as a concert, featuring singer Rhonda Merrick accompanied by our advanced Chamber Music Academy students and faculty.

• Help is needed in collecting and brainstorming great experiences for the auction. This is in majority done from an existing list of items and businesses to contact. Creative additions are highly appreciated and welcome!
• General planning of the event would include monthly meetings of getting together in person or zoom to plan details of the event. A lot is already set in place: additional discussion is around assigning roles for the day and how set up will happen.
• Additional help needed in picking up items, delivering them after the auction is over, and general errands for auction decorations, baskets, etc.
• On the day set up, calculating winnings for auction participants, helping with check-out, and take down of auction!

Date of event: Sunday, November 8th, 2:30 to 6pm

Set up time: Sunday, November 8th, 9:30am to 2pm

Clean up time: 6 - 7:30pm

Event Planning: starting in August through November.

As you can tell, these volunteer opportunity could be just the day of the event or in the coming months approaching the event. We'd love to have your help!
