    Description

    Founding Program and Strategy Volunteers

    Organization Overview

The Father’s Alliance is a humanitarian infrastructure project in its earliest stage.

This is a true Day Zero build.

The focus is household stability. Practical gaps that cause families to fall into crisis when one small thing goes wrong. Car repairs that stop someone from working. Short rent gaps. Utility shutoffs. Transportation breakdowns. The quiet failures that cascade.

We are intentionally taking time to build this correctly instead of rushing into services before the foundation exists.

    Transparency About Where We Are

The Father’s Alliance is currently operating as a non-incorporated project and is moving toward formal nonprofit status.

The project is led by the founder as a private initiative to ensure a clean, debt-free transition into a future nonprofit entity. This structure is intentional and temporary, allowing the foundation to be built carefully before formal incorporation.

    What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a small number of founding volunteers who are comfortable working in early ambiguity and want to help shape how this work becomes a durable system.

This is not a traditional volunteer role with a task list. It is collaborative, slow by design, and focused on getting the structure right before anything scales.

Areas Where Help Is Most Needed

Rather than rigid roles, we are looking for people who align with one or more of the following areas:

    Funding and Sustainability

People with experience identifying early funding pathways, community-based support models, or grant readiness who understand how to bridge the gap from a self-funded pilot to a community-supported institution.

    Governance and Organizational Design

Individuals with experience in nonprofit law, family advocacy, or organizational design who are willing to advise during the pre-incorporation phase and help think through long-term governance responsibly.

    Resource and Technical Builders

Researchers who can help identify and structure reliable public resources.

Developers familiar with modern web stacks. The current platform is built using React, Vite, TypeScript, and Tailwind. This is practical infrastructure work, not experimental or academic.

    Who This Is For

This is a good fit if you enjoy the blank page stage, care about outcomes more than optics, and are comfortable naming risks and constraints early.

This is not a good fit if you are looking for quick credentials, guaranteed titles, or a fully built organization with everything already figured out.

    Time and Structure

All roles are volunteer based and fully remote.

Time involvement is flexible and realistic. Most contribution happens through conversation, review, and thoughtful input rather than hours logged.

    What This Offers

A voice during the foundation phase.

    Real influence before systems harden.

Collaboration with people focused on practicality over rhetoric.

The chance to help build infrastructure that keeps families housed, mobile, and stable.

    How to Respond

If this resonates, apply with a short note answering one of the following:

What problem do you think existing systems consistently miss

What kind of infrastructure do you believe should exist but does not

Why early-stage work matters to you

    No resume required.
