    Description

Project Baby Doll is an initiative for James River Hospice patients with dementia. Studies show that dementia patients are calmer and less agitated when given a soft body baby doll to hold. James River Hospice is seeking donations of soft body baby dolls that will be repurposed for out patients with dementia. We are also seeking volunteers to help clean and dress the baby dolls for them to be given to a patient.

Do you have soft body baby dolls that you have intended to donate but never quite got around to it? We will pick the dolls up from your home or workplace. Please call 804-272-3300 ext. 1014.

Would you like to play a role in helping dementia patients feeling comforted and calm? Perhaps this the a volunteer opportunity for you!
