    Description

    Outreach Specialist

    About the Role

    This is a volunteer remote role for an Outreach Specialist at The Healing Circle Foundation. The Outreach Specialist will be responsible for engaging with the community, fostering relationships, and promoting the organization's initiatives through various channels. Help build and maintain relationships with clarity, speaking to communities and engaging them in our services.

    Responsibilities

    • Reach out to potential participants and partners to introduce our meditation and wellness programs.
    • Serve as a point of contact for clients.
    • Follow up with participants to gather feedback and ensure engagement.

    Qualifications

    • Communication Skills

    Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with individuals, groups, and partner organizations.

    • Experience in Outreach

    Previous experience in community outreach, engagement, or customer service is highly desirable.

    • Passion for Wellness and Healing

    A genuine interest in wellness, meditation, holistic healing, and the foundation’s mission.

    • Organizational Skills

    Ability to manage outreach activities, contacts, and follow-up communications in a systematic and organized manner.

    • Self-Motivated

    Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while maintaining focus on goals and deadlines.

    • Cultural Awareness

    Understanding and sensitivity to diverse populations, including the ability to communicate effectively across cultural and social differences.

    Required Skills

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Experience in outreach, community engagement, customer service or volunteer work
    • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Passion for the organization's mission and values

    Preferred Skills

    • Public Speaking

    Confidence in presenting information about the foundation’s programs and services to groups of varying sizes.

    • Relationship-Building

    Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with potential participants, donors, and partner organizations.

    • Networking Abilities

    Experience in networking and establishing connections within communities, organizations, and potential funding sources.

    • Follow-Up and Reporting

    Ability to follow up with potential clients and partners and provide feedback and reports to the foundation’s leadership team.

    • Bilingual (Preferred but Not Required)

    Fluency in a second language (in addition to English) is a plus, particularly in languages spoken in the communities you’ll be serving.
