Description
The League of Women Voters of Honolulu is a nonpartisan, nonprofit civic organization that helps Oʻahu residents understand how local government works and how to take part in it. We hold community conversations, table at events, produce plain-language civic explainers, and work to make civic participation feel accessible to everyone — not just people who already know the system. The League never supports or opposes any candidate or political party.
We post on Instagram about three times a week, and every post needs a clean, on-brand graphic. We have a Canva brand kit with our fonts, colors, and templates — what we need is someone who enjoys turning an approved caption and a topic into a finished visual.
What you'll do:
- Build Instagram graphics and carousels from our Canva templates (we'll share access)
- Work from a short brief — the words and the topic are already decided
- Turn around one or two graphics a week on a schedule that suits you
Some Canva or design experience is helpful; we'll walk you through the brand kit. Credited on request. LWV membership is not required.
How to apply: Fill out our short volunteer interest form at https://form.jotform.com/262931714710050 — it takes about two minutes. Membership isn't required. We reply within a week. Questions: info@lwvhonolulu.org
