    Description

    Volunteer Tutor

    The Literacy Council of Carroll County offers adults free, confidential one-on-one tutoring in reading, basic English, math, ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), and basic computing.

    Students are assessed before tutors and students are carefully matched. They meet one to two times a week in the Literacy Council Tutoring Center or other community locations, such as library branches. The Literacy Council offers support and educational resources to tutors and students. www.carrollliteracy.org
