Volunteer opportunities are available at Gentiva Hospice to provide friendly visits to patients and/or their families at local healthcare facilities or in their personal homes in Auburn, Worcester county and surrounding areas.

Volunteers are there to listen and talk, read a book, play cards or watch a favorite t.v. show. Volunteers also provide special support including playing music or working on craft projects. No matter what your skills, talent or motivation, we have the opportunity for you to help !

*Companionship volunteers do not perform and clinical activities with the patient such as feeding, toileting, bathing, or transferring. volunteers schedule their visits - day/time.

*Volunteers receive training that fits into their busy schedule.
