Description
The EmpowerED Initiative is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals impacted by eating disorders and body dysmorphia through empathy-driven, confidential spaces.
Our Hotline Forum Volunteers help maintain TEI's anonymous online support forum. It is a safe, moderated environment where individuals can talk openly about recovery, ask for guidance, and find comfort in knowing they’re not alone.
As a Hotline Forum Volunteer, you’ll:
- Thoughtfully respond to posts from individuals seeking encouragement or support
- Offer empathetic, non-judgmental guidance using EmpowerED’s training materials
- Help create a safe, calm, and inclusive space online
- Uphold confidentiality and respect at all times
All responses are written — no phone calls or DMs — allowing volunteers to support others from anywhere in the world.
