    A Friendly visit makes a difference for home patients-VITAS Healthcare-Troy, MO 63379

    VITAS Healthcare is looking for a volunteer to provide friendly visits and support to a home patient residing in Troy. Volunteers are critically important for visiting patients at the end of life that do not have family or friends that regularly visit.

    Patient Care Volunteers offer companionship, play music and games, read to patients, and help in other meaningful ways.

    VITAS Healthcare provides comprehensive training and orientation for hospice volunteering on communication skills, family dynamics and how to make a positive difference for patients and their caregivers.
