AdventHealth Hospice is seeking Vigil Volunteers to provide quiet companionship and a comforting presence to patients who are nearing the end of life. Your calm, compassionate presence ensures no one has to make this transition alone.

What Vigil Volunteers Do

• Sit bedside with patients who are actively transitioning
• Provide a peaceful, supportive presence—reading, prayer, or simple quiet companionship
• Offer comfort to families by giving them respite and reassurance
• No medical tasks required

Training & Support Provided

We offer comprehensive training, ongoing guidance, and continued support so you feel confident, prepared, and cared for while you serve.
