Over 20% of people in our community lack the English literacy skills needed to complete daily tasks, and 22% speak English "less than very well." You can help! After training, you will be matched with an adult who wants to improve their reading/writing or their English language skills. You will work one-on-one with your learner for two hours a week either at the library or online.

Teaching experience is not necessary -- just patience, empathy, and a willingness to learn. We will provide you with training and support. You can make a difference in someone's life!
