Description
Do you have a caring heart and a few hours to give? We are seeking compassionate Hospice Patient Companionship Volunteers to provide comfort, connection, and support to patients in San Antonio and surrounding areas.
Many hospice patients simply need someone to sit with them, listen to their stories, share conversation, read aloud, play games, or offer a comforting presence. Your companionship can bring peace, joy, and dignity during an important stage of life.
Volunteer Opportunities Include:
- Friendly visits and conversation
- Reading books, newspapers, or devotionals
- Listening to music together
- Playing cards or simple games
- Writing letters or helping preserve memories
- Providing companionship and emotional support
