    Grant Database Manager (Volunteer)

    Organization

    ANAM Georgia is a growing community-based arts nonprofit expanding access to high-quality music education and creative learning opportunities for children and families in Metro Atlanta. As a young organization, we are building strong systems to support sustainable growth and effective fundraising.

    Role Overview

    ANAM Georgia is seeking a Grant Database Manager (Volunteer) to support our fundraising and grants management efforts. This role focuses on organizing grant information, conducting grant prospect research, and assisting with the preparation of small grant proposals. The ideal volunteer is detail-oriented, comfortable working with spreadsheets and grant databases, and interested in helping a small nonprofit strengthen its funding systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain and update a grant calendar and tracking spreadsheet, including deadlines, requirements, and submission status.

    • Conduct grant prospect research using online grant databases and funder websites to identify new funding opportunities aligned with ANAM Georgia’s mission and programs.

    • Organize funder profiles, eligibility criteria, and application materials in a centralized system.

    • Assist with drafting and preparing small grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and basic attachments under staff guidance.

    • Support reporting and follow-up tracking for submitted grants as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Interest or experience in nonprofit fundraising, grant research, or grant writing.

    • Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel) and online research tools.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Clear written communication skills and ability to follow guidance and deadlines.

    • Passion for supporting arts education and community-based nonprofit work.
