    Description

    The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s takes place in more than 600 communities nationwide, bringing people together to raise awareness and support the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. Our Walks would not be possible without the dedicated volunteers who help make each event a success!

    We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join us at our 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer’s events across New York City. Volunteers can support with:

    • Event setup and cleanup
    • Day-of registration and check-in
    • Sponsorship activations
    • Route activities and participant support
    • Cheering on Walk participants
    • Other day-of event needs

    2026 Walk Locations

    Staten Island | Saturday, October 10 @ Wolfe’s Pond Park

    Queens | Sunday, October 25 @ Queens Zoo

    Brooklyn | Sunday, November 8 @ Korean War Veterans Plaza

    Manhattan | Saturday, November 14 @ Central Park
