    Description

    Veteran to Veteran Volunteering - Companionship for Veterans at the End of Life

    One of the largest demographics of veterans are coming to the later years of their lives this year, and the years to come. A large aspect that many find lacking during their last years, is a companion that understands the things that they went through in the only way that a fellow veteran can.

    Within AccentCare Hospice we see hundreds of veterans come through out doors each year, and we are looking to connect those who feel isolated or alone with a volunteer companion that served in the military. Whether you were overseas, or served domestically - we are looking for veterans of any branch to match with our patients and provide a much needed service to an often forgotten demographics.

    We cover all of Hillsborough Country with 500+ patients on our services, so there is bound to be someone who you are meant to connect with! Please apply and learn more about this invaluable role in your community!
