    Description

    Social Media & Digital Media Volunteer Team – AVET

    Join Apostolic Voice Education Trust’s media volunteer team and help us share Christ-centered education, leadership, and community transformation across Africa. Volunteers will contribute to social media management, content creation, video production, photography, copywriting, analytics, podcasting, and PR outreach. Responsibilities include creating engaging posts, editing visuals and videos, monitoring social media insights, managing platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube), writing captions and blogs, and promoting AVET programs and impact stories.

    1. Social Media Manager – AVET

    Description:

    Manage AVET’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn). Schedule posts, monitor engagement, and ensure content reflects our Christ-centered mission.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience with social media platforms
    • Creative mindset
    • Good communication skills
    • Passion for nonprofit work

    1. Content Creator – AVET

    Description:

    Create visual and written content for AVET’s platforms: graphics, posts, banners, captions, and promotional material.

    Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools
    • Strong design sense
    • Ability to craft engaging, mission-focused messages

    Volunteers Needed: 2

    1. Video Producer / Editor – AVET

    Description:

    Film, edit, and produce videos showcasing AVET programs, events, and success stories.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in video filming and editing (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci, etc.)
    • Creative storytelling ability
    • Attention to detail

    1. Photographer – AVET

    Description:

    Capture high-quality photos of AVET events, community projects, and volunteer activities for social media and marketing.

    Qualifications:

    • Photography skills
    • Basic editing knowledge (Lightroom, Photoshop)
    • Eye for storytelling through images

    1. Copywriter / Blogger – AVET

    Description:

    Write engaging blog posts, social media captions, newsletters, and website content aligned with AVET’s mission.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong writing and grammar skills
    • Ability to write faith-centered, compelling content
    • Attention to detail

    Volunteers Needed: 1

    1. Podcast Producer – AVET

    Description:

    Help produce AVET podcasts: plan episodes, record interviews, edit audio, and upload content to platforms.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience with audio editing software (Audacity, GarageBand, etc.)
    • Good communication and interviewing skills
    • Passion for storytelling

    1. YouTube Channel Manager – AVET

    Description:

    Manage AVET’s YouTube channel: upload content, optimize titles/descriptions, create thumbnails, and track analytics.

    Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of YouTube best practices
    • Video editing experience
    • Ability to engage audiences

    Volunteers Needed: 1

    1. Graphics & Animation Designer – AVET

    Description:

    Design infographics, animations, and other multimedia content to visually communicate AVET’s programs and impact.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience with Illustrator, After Effects, or similar tools
    • Creative and innovative thinking
    • Understanding of visual storytelling

    1. Analytics & Engagement Specialist – AVET

    Description:

    Monitor social media performance, track engagement metrics, analyze trends, and recommend strategies to improve reach and impact.

    Qualifications:

    • Familiarity with social media analytics tools
    • Data-driven mindset
    • Good communication skills

    1. PR & Community Outreach Volunteer – AVET

    Description:

    Promote AVET programs through online and offline channels, connect with partners, media, and supporters.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong communication skills
    • Experience in public relations or community outreach
    • Passion for promoting nonprofit missions
