One-Time Event Volunteer Coordinator

For The One is seeking a Volunteer Event Coordinator to assist with coordination and logistics for our 2027 Tough Mudder team event in Atlanta.

This role will help organize volunteers, support event-day logistics, assist with outreach and communication, and help create an engaging and impactful experience for participants and supporters. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about nonprofit work, community engagement, leadership, fitness events, or mission-driven operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and coordination leading up to the event
• Coordinate volunteer schedules and participant communication
• Help organize event materials, team check-ins, and logistics
• Support fundraising and awareness efforts connected to the event
• Assist with social media coordination and event promotion
• Help manage event-day operations and troubleshooting
• Support post-event follow-up and volunteer appreciation

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Positive attitude and professionalism
• Experience with event coordination, nonprofits, athletics, or outreach is a plus
• Passion for supporting meaningful causes and community impact
