    Description

    Random Acts is a non-profit that inspires acts of kindness around the world. We provide a vast network of caring people with the encouragement and support they need to change lives for the better. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Digital Marketing Manager. This volunteer position is completely remote.

    Reporting to the Creative Deputy Director, the Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and guiding the overall digital marketing strategy for Random Acts. In close collaboration with cross-functional teams, this role ensures our digital presence reflects the mission and priorities of the organization. The focus of this role is on measurable impact, data-driven decision-making, community-driven growth, and efficient coordination among digital teams.

    This role requires about 5 hours of commitment per week.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and continuously refine the overall digital marketing strategy of Random Acts to increase mission awareness.
    • Define clear KPIs, measurable goals, and reporting frameworks.
    • Regularly analyze and evaluate performance data across all digital channels.
    • Translate analytics into actionable recommendations and strategic adjustments.
    • Align our digital initiatives with organizational projects (e.g., fundraisers).
    • Coordinate and prioritize resources across our Writing, Multimedia, and Social Media teams and ensure sustainable workload distribution.
    • Ensure consistent brand voice and mission alignment across all digital touchpoints.
    • Identify optimization opportunities and ensure continuous improvement.
    • Guide, mentor, and support staff members of the Digital Marketing team.
    • Attend regular staff and departmental meetings. Hold regular staff meetings, and meet 1x1 with your staff members individually on a regular basis.
    • Any other projects or duties as requested by the Creative Director.

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    • Enthusiasm and commitment to the objectives of Random Acts.
    • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups, including staff, supporters, peers, and the public.
    • Experience in digital marketing strategy and performance management.
    • Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI development and evaluation.
    • Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, email analytics, and social media insights.
    • Leadership mindset with the ability to guide and empower volunteer teams.
    • Strategic thinker with a structured and data-driven approach.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
    • Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
