Donating Sack Lunches for Volunteer Hours

YOUR ACTIVITY: LAFH needs you to make Sack Lunches! Volunteers are needed to make sack lunches for LAFH's outreach and emergency response efforts. Volunteers purchase the necessary ingredients to assemble Sack Lunches at a location of their choosing (Not at an LA Family Housing Site) and deliver them to LA Family Housing.

List of Items for the Sack Lunch :

- Sandwich (turkey and cheese, ham and cheese, or pb&j) condiment packets optional but appreciated.

- Small water bottle or juice box/pouch

- Chips or cookies

- Fruit (oranges, apples, bananas)

- Bag--to add all the items to

- We do not fulfill court-ordered volunteer hours. If you need a donation receipt, please let us know.

DELIVERY: Monday-Friday from 9:00AM-4:00 PM at our office in North Hollywood

YOUR IMPACT: In making these sack lunches, you are aiding our outreach team to build trust and bridge connections to further assistance. Your contributions will help our unhoused neighbors leave with a full stomach and an even fuller heart.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Must be able to purchase the ingredients for Sack Lunch preparation as LAFH does not provide them.

- Must assemble the Sack Lunch at your place of residence or other location. LAFH facilities are not available for this opportunity.

- Deliver Sack Lunch to our LAFH office in North Hollywood during specified operating hours; we do not offer donation pickups.

- TIMES OF DELIVERY: Monday-Friday from 9:00AM-4:00 PM (Please schedule a drop off.)

- Must be individually packed. I.e. Each lunch sack must have one of each item listed above
