    Description

Discovery Cards Troupe: Movement & Community Facilitation Collective

Moving Rasa is forming a small weekly Discovery Cards Troupe to practice and share the cards through movement, relational practice, and community potlucks.

The Discovery Cards are an oracle-inspired movement deck, not a predictive tool. At community potlucks, participants may bring a question, reflection, or life moment to explore. As a troupe, we practice using our bodies, movement, and relational presence to help manifest the images, tensions, and possibilities that arise from the cards.

We approach this in a trauma-informed way, with attention to consent, choice, pacing, and care. The goal is not to give answers, but to create a shared environment where people can witness, explore, and connect through movement, food, and community.

All bodies are welcome across ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Experience in dance, theater, facilitation, or community work is welcome but not required. What matters most is a willingness to play, experiment, listen, and practice together.

    Commitment:

    Mondays, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM in Hell’s Kitchen

Initial 8-week commitment (will reach out by email with starting date)

Occasional participation in community potlucks or events
