Translation Commons is a nonprofit public charity dedicated to providing a reliable and scalable method for digitally rendering languages. Our mission is to solve the problem of unrepresented languages struggling to participate in a global communications network, and since 2015, we have successfully helped digitize numerous endangered languages.

Overview

We are seeking a proactive Partnership Manager volunteer to strengthen Translation Commons’ external relationships. This role focuses on building partnerships with universities, NGOs, and companies, finding sponsorship opportunities, and coordinating joint campaigns and events.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, NGOs, and companies.
• Identify sponsorship and collaboration opportunities.
• Coordinate joint events, workshops, and campaigns with partners.
• Report results and impact of partnerships to the Head of Traffic and the wider Marketing Team.

Ideal Skills

• Strong communication and networking skills.
• Experience in partnerships, fundraising, or outreach.
• Ability to coordinate campaigns and events with multiple stakeholders.
• Organisational and reporting skills.
• Interest in nonprofit collaboration, education, and digital inclusion.
