    Description

Organization: Cornerstone Care Coalition (CCC) – An Initiative of The JJ Center, Inc.

    About Us:

The Cornerstone Care Coalition (CCC) is dedicated to building a 360° wellness ecosystem for the residents of Wards 7 and 8. We bring together community leaders, healthcare professionals, and local organizations to bridge the gap between home and hospital, addressing social determinants of health and economic equity.

    Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Public Health Operations Coordinator to anchor our weekly administrative and compliance engine. This is an exceptional opportunity for a public health student, recent graduate, or advocate looking to gain hands-on experience in community health coalition management, compliance, and grassroots operational strategy.

Most of the active coordination for this role takes place on Mondays, making it perfect for someone who loves setting the tone for the week and keeping moving parts aligned.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Weekly Strategic Alignment: Meet virtually with the CEO every Monday to review coalition progress and co-prepare the upcoming meeting agenda.
    • Live Meeting Facilitation: Attend and support the weekly Monday evening coalition meetings (7:00 PM – 8:00 PM EST). Responsibilities include managing screen-sharing for the agenda, tracking attendance, and troubleshooting real-time tech/access issues for attendees.
    • Onboarding & HR Collaboration: Partner closely with our HR team to streamline the member onboarding pipeline.
    • Compliance Tracking: Actively assist new coalition members in gaining network access, selecting their working groups, and ensuring all required onboarding documents are signed and completed.

    Qualifications:

    • A background, current study, or strong interest in Public Health, Health Administration, Non-Profit Management, or a related field.
    • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; you are someone who thrives on creating order and processes.
    • Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating virtual tools (Google Workspace, Zoom/Google Meet, WhatsApp, and digital document sharing).
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a patient and helpful approach to troubleshooting member access issues.
    • Availability on Mondays is required, specifically including the 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM EST meeting window.

    What You Will Gain:

    • Direct mentorship from executive non-profit leadership.
    • Deep, practical insight into public health coalition-building and community health frameworks.
    • A remote, flexible environment that respects your academic or professional schedule while providing high-impact portfolio experience.
