Nonprofit
Event Volunteer – Voter Education Tabling
Details
Description
The League of Women Voters of Honolulu is a nonpartisan, nonprofit civic organization that helps Oʻahu residents understand how local government works and how to take part in it. We hold community conversations, table at events, produce plain-language civic explainers, and work to make civic participation feel accessible to everyone — not just people who already know the system. The League never supports or opposes any candidate or political party.
We table at community fairs, campus events, and neighborhood gatherings, and we need friendly people to help.
What you'll do:
- Help set up and pack up a simple table display
- Greet people, answer basic questions, and hand out nonpartisan voter information
- Point people toward official resources for registering and voting
No prior experience needed — we'll walk you through everything before your first event. Great for anyone who enjoys talking with neighbors. LWV membership is not required.
How to apply: Fill out our short volunteer interest form at https://form.jotform.com/262931714710050 — it takes about two minutes. Membership isn't required. We reply within a week. Questions: info@lwvhonolulu.org
