This volunteer role is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are intrinsically motivated by theory, dialogue, action, and the desire to foster a sense of community among change-makers. While this position doesn't offer financial compensation, the intangible rewards - in the form of social capital, learning, experience, camaraderie, transferable skills, and the fulfilment derived from mentorship - are invaluable.

    Roles & Activities:

    • Participation in Dialogues: Engage in enlightening dialogues, offering your unique perspective and wisdom while learning from others in our diverse community.
    • Capacity Building: Leverage your knowledge, experience, and leadership in systems change and social innovation to foster the growth of CrowdDoing's initiatives.
    • Social Capital Weaving: Use your network to connect like-minded individuals and organizations to relevant CrowdDoing initiatives, building a rich tapestry of collaboration.
    • Mentorship: Provide mentorship to volunteers, helping them navigate the intricacies of systemic change and social innovation.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Significant experience leading efforts in systems change and social innovation, with a track record of tangible impact.
    • Deep understanding of theories and practices underpinning systems change and social innovation.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and a capacity for empathy, resilience, and collaboration.
    • Proven ability to foster connections and weave social capital to create impactful partnerships.
    • Comfortable in a highly collaborative and improvisational environment.

Joining CrowdDoing as a Systems Change Catalyst allows you to engage in critical dialogues, form valuable connections, and work on real-world problems. Your expertise and passion can support us in addressing global challenges, creating a more equitable and sustainable future. This role is not only about leading but also about nurturing a community where systems change leaders feel interconnected and supported in our collective endeavor.
