Description
Role Summary
The Fundraising Manager leads the development and execution of fundraising strategies to support the organization’s growth and sustainability. This role focuses on building donor relationships, driving campaigns, and strengthening fundraising systems.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Campaigns
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies and campaigns
- Plan and oversee giving initiatives (including Q4 giving season)
- Identify opportunities to grow revenue streams
Donor Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with donors
- Develop corporate and major donor partnerships
- Support donor communication and stewardship efforts
- Increase “Life Preservers” (monthly giving) and “Anchor Donor” (large donor) programs
Systems & Tools
- Leverage Givebutter (donor platform) and other tools to manage fundraising efforts
- Track performance of campaigns and identify improvements
- Ensure donor data is maintained and utilized effectively
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Partner with Events Manager on fundraising events
- Collaborate on messaging and campaigns
- Align fundraising efforts with organizational priorities
Success Looks Like
- Increased and more consistent fundraising revenue
- Strong donor relationships and retention
- Effective, well-executed campaigns
- Clear visibility into fundraising performance
