    Description

    Position Overview

    The Webmaster manages and maintains Leveling the Fields’ website to ensure it remains accurate, up to date, user-friendly, and aligned with our mission. This role focuses on website updates, page improvements, troubleshooting, and supporting new features such as program listings, volunteer pages, and online giving tools.

    Key Responsibilities

    Website Maintenance & Updates

    • Keep all website content current, including programs, events, committees, volunteer roles, and resources.
    • Update pages as needed with new photos, forms, program details, blog posts, or announcements.
    • Ensure all links, forms, buttons, and embedded tools function properly.

    Website Improvements

    • Recommend and implement improvements to layout, navigation, and usability.
    • Support SEO best practices (titles, meta tags, internal links).
    • Assist with landing pages for campaigns, Google Ads, or events.

    Technical Oversight

    • Monitor site performance and uptime.
    • Troubleshoot basic technical issues or plugin updates.
    • Coordinate with external developers if advanced tech support is needed.

    Integration & Analytics

    • Ensure integrations with CRM, donation platforms, volunteer forms, or analytics tools remain functional.
    • Review basic analytics (traffic sources, top pages, conversions) and provide insights to the Marketing Chair.

    Collaboration

    • Work closely with the Marketing Committee to ensure messaging and design align with brand standards.
    • Support Programs and Development with page updates tied to their initiatives.
    • Assist the Google Ads Manager with landing page quality and optimization.

    Qualifications

    • Experience managing websites with Squarespace.
    • Good understanding of design, layout, and user experience.
    • Comfort troubleshooting issues and coordinating with outside support as needed.
    • Organized, responsive, and able to implement updates quickly.

    • Current, well-organized website that reflects LTF’s growth and programs
    • Smooth user experience for families, donors, volunteers, and schools
    • Strong landing pages that improve marketing and Google Ads performance
    • Reduced technical issues and a consistent, polished online presence
