    Virtual Reading Program Story-Teller Guidelines and Job Description

    The NHEG Virtual Reading Program Story-Teller will read, promote and upload stories to multiple websites. (As directed by NHEG) The story-teller will work from a list of free stories in the age ranges of their choosing. This person will help consider ratings and viewership, work to cultivate a consistent audience, and pursue their own vision of the program's values.

    Requirements

    Resume with three references, including email addresses.

    Phone/Internet interview.

    A team player with great communication and organizing skills.

    Ability to search resources and help monitor sites we appear on.

    Weekly updates and quick turnaround on assignments.

    Major Duties

    • Position requires a positive attitude.
    • Written, Verbal and clear English and possess organizational and communication skills are a must.
    • Liaise with other NHEG staff.
    • Gather data from networks and make sure the shows are running smoothly.
    • No background check will be required since this is pre-recorded.

    Fundamentals

    • Evaluations

    Your performance will be evaluated on the timeliness and efficiency of your work.

    Any concerns will be discussed with the appropriate recommendations made. In

    addition, your evaluation will be used as a determination of your continuing status

    and to highlight any areas that need improvement. All NHEG Virtual Reading Program Story-tellers will provide weekly feedback to the NHEG executive team and hosts.

    Flexible, but weekly check-ins and communication with team members and social media

    team required.
