    Volunteer Opportunity: Friendly Visitor & Sports Companion

    Are you looking to make a meaningful difference in someone's life? We are seeking a compassionate volunteer to provide one-on-one companionship to an older adult living in a memory care community.

    Volunteer Activities May Include:

    • Friendly visits and conversation
    • Listening to music together
    • Talking about sports, including the Blazers, Mariners, and Seahawks
    • Looking through family photos and sharing memories
    • Providing social connection and emotional support

    Volunteer Qualifications:

    • Patient, empathetic, and dependable
    • Comfortable interacting with older adults experiencing memory loss
    • Able to engage in calm, one-on-one visits
    • No gender preference

    About the Participant: This individual enjoys music, sports, and reminiscing about life experiences through photographs. Due to health and mobility challenges, he benefits most from individualized companionship in a quiet setting.

    Commitment: Flexible scheduling based on volunteer availability.

    Your friendship and presence can help reduce isolation and bring meaningful connection to someone who would greatly benefit from regular visits.
