    Description

    Change AZ is a virtual, affirming e-therapy agency dedicated to providing accessible, inclusive mental health care. We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented volunteer web developer to help bring our website to life. All of the content, branding materials, and copy are ready to go. We need someone who can design and build a clean, professional, user-friendly site that reflects our mission of affirming, accessible care.

    Responsibilities:

    • Build and design a website using our existing content, branding, and materials
    • Create a warm, welcoming, and user-friendly layout and navigation structure
    • Ensure the site is mobile-responsive and accessible
    • Optimize for basic SEO and page load speed
    • Collaborate with our team on revisions and final launch
    • Provide basic guidance on maintaining/updating the site post-launch (optional but would be greatly appreciated)

    Qualifications:

    • Experience building websites (please note that our website is currently powered by WordPress)
    • Strong eye for clean, modern design
    • Comfortable working independently and communicating progress remotely
    • Prior nonprofit or mission-driven organization experience a plus, but not required
    • Passion for or experience with affirming/inclusive mental health spaces a plus, but not required
