    Women Empowering Women Inc. (WEW)

    Position Overview

    The Program Director provides strategic leadership, planning, and oversight for Women Empowering Women Inc.’s programs and initiatives. This role ensures that all programs align with WEW’s mission to empower, educate, and encourage women to thrive through personal and professional development.

    The Program Director oversees the design, implementation, evaluation, and expansion of WEW’s signature programs, including the 7-Month EmpowerHER Program, masterclasses, retreats, youth initiatives, and community partnerships.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Program Strategy & Development
    • Lead planning and execution of WEW’s annual EmpowerHER Program
    • Develop structured monthly themes, timelines, and deliverables
    • Ensure programming aligns with WEW core values: empower, encourage, educate
    • Create scalable systems for multi-region implementation (Houston, Kansas City, South Florida)
    1. Program Implementation
    • Coordinate speakers, facilitators, and volunteers
    • Oversee masterclasses, networking events, and workshops
    • Ensure consistency in program quality across hybrid and in-person events
    • Manage event flow, run-of-show, and participant experience
    1. Volunteer & Team Leadership
    • Recruit, onboard, and supervise program volunteers/interns
    • Delegate responsibilities across regions
    • Conduct monthly program check-ins
    • Build leadership pipelines (Cohort Leadership, Clarity Cohort vision)
    1. Partnerships & Community Engagement
    • Develop relationships with schools, libraries, and community organizations
    • Collaborate with board members and regional leaders
    • Support outreach for high school and adult women initiatives
    1. Evaluation & Reporting
    • Track participation metrics and outcomes
    • Prepare monthly program updates for CEO and Board
    • Recommend program improvements based on feedback and data
    1. Budget Oversight
    • Collaborate on program budgets
    • Monitor expenses and resource allocation
    • Support fundraising and grant-aligned programming

    Qualifications

    • Strong leadership and organizational skills
    • Experience in program management, nonprofit work, or community development
    • Ability to manage multiple projects with structure and systems
    • Passion for women’s empowerment and youth development
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills

    Time Commitment

    • Volunteer or part-time structure (as determined)
    • Monthly planning meetings
    • Oversight of program calendar and major events

    Instructions:

    Purpose of Role:

    To centralize program leadership and create scalable systems that support WEW’s multi-region growth and long-term sustainability.

    Strategic Need:

    As WEW expands its EmpowerHER Program, youth initiatives, retreats, and masterclasses, structured oversight is required to ensure program consistency, measurable impact, and leadership development.
