What You May Help Build

• Develop React and SharePoint Framework (SPFx) components for task, project, and volunteer-hours tracking
• Create user-friendly interfaces connected to SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, and other Microsoft 365 tools
• Build automated workflows and integrations with Planner, Teams, Power Automate, and Power BI
• Research and prototype new features, including AI-assisted task creation
• Test, troubleshoot, improve, secure, and document applications for future development

What You’ll Work With:

This volunteer opportunity will include hands-on development involving:

React, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript / TypeScript, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365

Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Lists, Microsoft Planner, Power Automate, Power BI

Depending on experience and project direction, there may also be opportunities to explore Microsoft Graph, APIs, Copilot Studio, AI agents, Dataverse, and other Microsoft technologies.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in front-end, full-stack, React, SharePoint, or software development
• Familiarity with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, or related development tools
• Ability to volunteer for a minimum of 3 hours a week for at least 10 weeks
• Ability to manage self-guided work
• Access to technology and ability to meet virtually

You do not need experience with every technology listed. We welcome developers who enjoy learning, experimenting, problem-solving, prototyping, collaborating, and documenting their work.
