    Description

    Heartshare is a nonprofit organization that champions and empowers New York City’s most overlooked and underestimated by promoting health and well-being, creating stability, and unlocking features. Heartshare's Intellectual and Developmental Disability Services provides day programming that includes activities, life-skills classes, outings, and other enriching programming. You can learn more about the individuals we support in our day programs here.

    Our Brooklyn Day Program site is hosting their annual Labor Day party on Friday, September 4th from 10am-2pm for the individuals that participate in their programming. We need extra help with the following tasks:

    • Meal prep
    • Meal serving
    • General engagement (this could be dancing, playing games, or having conversations with the individuals)
    • Clean up
