Description
Volunteers help Capital City Hospice provide excellent care to patients, by making calls to "welcome" patients and families to hospice.
- Recognized for providing excellent care, Capital City Hospice relies on volunteers to help maintain that high level of care. Volunteers make these (scripted) "welcome" calls as patients are admitted to hospice, to ensure they are comfortable, have all necessary equipment and supplies, and understand that our team will provide exceptional care.
- Volunteers must attend an orientation; these are scheduled monthly at the Capital City Hospice office.
- Welcome calls are made within two weeks of a patient's admission. If you can help make these calls--from our office or from your home-- please call (614-441-9300) or email (cch-vc@addus.com) to learn more and to register for an upcoming orientation.
We invite you to join our outstanding hospice volunteer team, and look forward to meeting you!
