Start a School Chapter

Stronger Than Cancer is a student-led nonprofit focused on raising cancer awareness, supporting patients and survivors, and educating communities through outreach and volunteer-driven initiatives.

We assemble and distribute comfort care kits for cancer patients and work closely with hospitals and community partners to provide meaningful support to individuals and families.

We are looking for motivated students to start and lead Stronger Than Cancer School Chapters within their high schools or colleges.

Chapter Model

School Chapters are officially based within your school and typically require:

• A faculty advisor
• Basic school club approval process
• Regular meetings and activities

We will guide you through each step of setting up your chapter.

Typical responsibilities include -

• Recruiting student volunteers at school
• Hosting bracelet making and card making drives on campus
• Organizing fundraising and awareness activities, including breast cancer awareness
• Planning at least one volunteer event per month, or based on the chapter’s schedule
• Tracking volunteer participation and service hours
• Coordinating drop offs or deliveries, with parent or adult support when needed
• Representing Stronger Than Cancer with kindness and responsibility
• Sharing photos and short updates with the Stronger Than Cancer team

Who Should Apply -

• High school or college students
• Interested in leadership, healthcare, or community impact
• Willing to take initiative and work with school administration
• Passionate about making a difference
