In-Kind Catering Support Needed for Free Community Health Event (St. Louis, MO)

In-Kind Catering Support Needed for Free Community Health Event (St. Louis, MO)

The Ruth Lee Miller Heart Health Research Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing cardiovascular and metabolic health equity, is seeking a food caterer willing to donate hot meals for an upcoming free community health event in St. Louis, Missouri.

The event will take place on Februa0ry 21, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the Bayer YMCA and is open at no cost to all in the community (attendees and exhibitors). The Cardiometabolic Health Exposition is designed to provide health education, screenings, resources, and support to individuals and families across the St. Louis area, particularly those who may face barriers to accessing preventive care.

We are seeking a caterer who can provide hot, ready-to-serve food for attendees as an in-kind donation or at a significantly reduced nonprofit rate. Nutritious, culturally inclusive, and family-friendly menu options are especially welcome, though flexibility is appreciated. Food service will play an important role in ensuring attendees feel welcomed, supported, and able to fully participate in the event.

In addition to food donations, the Foundation is also seeking servers or catering staff willing to provide in-kind service support, either as a stand-alone contribution or in combination with food service. Volunteer or donated serving support will help ensure meals are distributed efficiently and safely, allowing the event to run smoothly while maintaining a welcoming experience for all attendees. Servers will receive public acknowledgment and documentation recognizing their in-kind contribution, along with the opportunity to support a meaningful community health initiative.

In exchange for donated services, the caterer will receive public recognition and acknowledgment across the Foundation’s event materials, social media platforms, and post-event communications. Additional benefits include exposure to a diverse audience of community members, nonprofit leaders, healthcare professionals, and local organizations; documentation recognizing the in-kind donation for tax or professional purposes; and opportunities for future collaboration with the Foundation on upcoming community health initiatives.

This opportunity is ideal for a caterer or food service provider who is passionate about community service, food access, and supporting public health efforts through meaningful local engagement.
