    Description

Join Autumn Hospice in Creating Comfort for Patients

Autumn Hospice, a locally owned and operated hospice care provider, is inviting volunteers to help craft fidget blankets—thoughtful, sensory lap quilts designed to bring comfort and engagement to our patients.

Fidget blankets offer tactile, visual, and sensory stimulation, especially beneficial for individuals with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. These small quilts feature a variety of textures, colors, and interactive elements that help soothe anxiety, reduce restlessness, and provide meaningful activity.

If you or someone you know enjoys sewing or crafting and would like to make a difference in the lives of hospice patients, we’d love to hear from you!
