    Description

    Food for Thought

Join Magic founders for a fun evening learning about their ecologically informed building and landscapes and the valuescience framework for the Magic service learning community. We'll begin by serving a simple meal. Next we'll present Magic's building project and community. Then, we'll consider the importance of a sound scientific analysis to effective public service and explore valuescience, the idea underpinning Magic's work. At the end of the evening, participants will have an opportunity to tour the building and learn about the unique features of our award-winning residence.

Reconsidering our ideas about what we want and how to get it-our values-may be among the most important public services we can perform in a world where 8 billion humans are creating by our own actions based on these ideas many of the most challenging "problems" we're aiming to address with public service.
