    Reliable internet access, a computer with audio/video capability, and the ability to attend weekly virtual planning meetings. Volunteers should be organized, dependable, and committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment.

    Description

    The Culture Collective is seeking passionate professionals, educators, practitioners, and community leaders to volunteer as guest speakers and discussion moderators for Culture Conversations, our weekly virtual community discussion series.

    Each session provides a welcoming space where participants can learn from experts, ask questions, share experiences, and connect with valuable community resources.

    We welcome volunteers with expertise in areas such as:

    • Mental Health
    • Financial Literacy
    • Entrepreneurship
    • Career Development
    • Leadership
    • Health & Wellness
    • Parenting
    • Youth Development
    • Civic Engagement
    • Technology & Artificial Intelligence
    • Homeownership
    • Credit & Banking
    • Estate Planning
    • Education
    • Nonprofit Leadership
    • Arts & Culture
    • Public Health
    • Government
    • Law
    • And other community-focused topics

    Responsibilities

    • Lead or co-facilitate a virtual discussion
    • Share practical knowledge and resources
    • Encourage respectful participant engagement
    • Answer questions and foster meaningful dialogue

    Qualifications

    • Professional or lived experience in your area of expertise
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Passion for educating and empowering communities

    Time Commitment

    Most volunteers facilitate one session every few months, although recurring opportunities are available.
