Description
A Welcoming, Low‑Pressure Way to Get Involved and Build Community
Looking for a fun, social, and meaningful volunteer opportunity you can do on your own? Our Community Supper Club is a relaxed, community‑driven meal where volunteers learn the ropes of hosting, meet fellow volunteers, and help create a warm shared meal for our residents.
This is a true community effort: I provide the entrée, and volunteers each contribute one item — a side, dessert, drinks, or basic supplies. Together, we create a welcoming, neighborly meal that brings people together.
What Volunteers Do
- Bring One Item — Choose a side, dessert, drinks, or supplies.
- Get Involved With Supper Clubs — Learn setup, flow, and community engagement.
- Meet Fellow Volunteers — A great opportunity for solo volunteers to connect.
- Support a Community Meal — Help create a warm, welcoming environment.
- Serve & Share — Serve buffet‑style, then sit and enjoy the meal with residents.
Time Commitment
- 2 hours
- Join us once or gather a group to host on a recurring basis.
