    About The Campbell House

The Campbell House is a growing nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering girls and young women through leadership development, mentorship, educational support, and community engagement. As we continue to expand our impact, we are seeking a volunteer to help us build the financial systems and organizational infrastructure necessary for long-term sustainability.

    Opportunity

We are looking for a volunteer with experience in nonprofit finance, accounting, business operations, or organizational development who is interested in helping shape the foundation of an emerging organization.

Rather than managing day-to-day bookkeeping, this role will focus on helping leadership establish strong financial processes, policies, and systems that will support future growth.

    Responsibilities

    • Help develop and strengthen financial management procedures
    • Assist with creating annual budgets and budget tracking tools
    • Support the implementation and organization of QuickBooks and financial records
    • Advise on financial policies, internal controls, and best practices
    • Help establish reporting processes for leadership and the Board
    • Provide guidance on nonprofit financial compliance and grant management
    • Participate in occasional planning and finance committee discussions

    Ideal Volunteer

    • Experience in accounting, finance, nonprofit management, auditing, business administration, or organizational development
    • Interest in helping build systems from the ground up
    • Strategic thinker who enjoys creating structure and sustainable processes
    • Passion for community impact and youth development

    Why Volunteer With Us?

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of a growing nonprofit. Your expertise will directly contribute to building a strong organizational foundation that allows The Campbell House to expand programs, increase funding opportunities, and serve more young people in our community.

Professionals, retirees, consultants, accountants, CFOs, nonprofit leaders, and graduate students with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
