    Description

Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. At the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, we honor those principles as a nonprofit whose mission is to teach about the false hope of communism and the horrors of totalitarian regimes past and present. Help us share witness stories and serve a beacon of truth against communism at our Victims of Communism Museum.

Museum volunteers play an essential role in inspiring and engaging our audiences by supporting the behind-the-scenes work. Volunteers greet and welcome guests, provide information and support staff in a variety of functions.

People who have family connections to communism or communist regimes are encouraged to apply to share their stories with our visitors.

      Key Responsibilities:

Welcoming guests into the museum in a friendly and passionate manner

Assisting museum guests with any issues or problems that may occur

Handing out flyers and other Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation handouts

Restocking of various items at the front desk

Touring guests around the museum, while sharing knowledge about communism and the exhibits (after receiving the appropriate training)
