    Description

    New Harvest Farmers Market Volunteer

    Passionate about local food and looking for a way to give back to your community? Join our volunteer team!

    Nourish Knoxville is looking for volunteers for our Thursday New Harvest Farmers Market. Volunteers may assist with:

    • Setting up/breaking down the Information Booth and Nourish Moves Booth
    • Conducting crowd counts
    • Processing SNAP (formerly known as Food Stamps) and Double Up Food Bucks (SNAP matching program) transactions
    • Assisting customers with our sustainability programs
    • Assisting with our Nourish Moves walking program
    • Assisting with our Nourish Kids children's activities (third Thursdays)

    Volunteer shifts run every Thursday (April 23 - September 24) from 2:30 PM - 6:15 PM. Scheduling subject to availability.

    All volunteers must be 18 years or older. If interested, please fill out our Volunteer Intake Form, and our volunteer coordinator will be in touch!
