Connections For Humanity (CFH) is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Recruitment & Outreach Coordinator to help us build and strengthen our volunteer team in support of our veterans programs and hunger relief initiatives throughout Philadelphia.
This volunteer leadership position is ideal for someone who is organized, motivated, professional, and passionate about helping others. College students, retirees, veterans, and community-minded individuals are encouraged to apply.
The Volunteer Recruitment & Outreach Coordinator will help recruit, organize, and communicate with volunteers for a variety of CFH programs and community initiatives.
Responsibilities may include:
- Posting volunteer opportunities online
• Helping recruit volunteers through community outreach and social media
• Responding to volunteer inquiries
• Assisting with volunteer coordination and scheduling
• Helping connect volunteers with the right programs and projects
• Supporting outreach to colleges, community organizations, and veteran groups
• Helping grow CFH’s volunteer network and community presence
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and people skills
• Organized and dependable
• Comfortable using email, social media, and online platforms
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Passion for supporting veterans and helping communities in need
