    Bayview Black History Month Bike Ride 2026

    Join us in supporting Black history, local businesses, and safe biking in our community! 🚲

    Livable City and San Francisco Bicycle Coalition are partnering for a special Black History Month ride through San Francisco.

    Between 150–200 riders will tour significant Black history sites throughout the city, concluding on 3rd Street to patronize local Black-owned businesses. We are providing Bike Valet services and need volunteers to help make it a success.

    Event Details:

    Date: Saturday, February 28, 2026

    Ride Start: 9:00 AM at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial

    Ride End: Between 1:00–1:30 PM on 3rd Street (Bayview)

    Volunteer Shifts

    SHIFT #1 - Set-Up (>6 volunteers needed)

    Setting Up 17-18 barricades for bike valet at each site.

    3 - volunteers at: Smoke Soul Kitchen (4618 3rd St, San Francisco, CA 94124)

    Breakdown and Staging Street Closure Equipment for pick up: 17-18 barricades for bike valet at each site.

    Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
