    Description

We are currently looking for a volunteer instructor to lead our 4th quarter (October 5th–December 18th) ESL class hosted at InCommon (1330 N 40th St, Omaha, NE 68131). Our students are primarily immigrants and refugees who rely on these classes for vital language skills and community building. The meeting days and times have not been finalized, but we are looking for a volunteer instructor with weekday morning availability. Classes are twice a week for 1.5 hours each class.

We make sure you’re fully prepared before you step into the classroom. You’ll receive:

    • A one-hour orientation and on-demand curriculum training.
    • Co-teaching with an experienced teacher for your first two classes to help you get settled.
    • Ongoing support and monthly collaborative meetings with other instructors.

If you’d like to learn more, feel free to reach out to our Volunteer Manager Katie Weber at katie@golearnall.org. If you aren’t available but know someone who might be, please feel free to pass this along!
