    Description

    We here at Visiting Nurse & Health Services of CT are looking for people to volunteer that represent our CORE Values of Teamwork, Respect, Communication, and Caring. A Hospice Patient Visitor Volunteer visits patients who are one Hospice. The visits range from:

    • Sitting by the bedside chatting with the patient about their life
    • Providing respite for the caregiver so they may run errands or take a break.
    • Reading to the patient
    • Provide companionship
    • Play games with the patient
    • Provide support to the family
    • and many more
